Roberts of Port Dinorwic Ltd is a leading manufacturer of cooked meats & ready meals to the UK Foodservice Industry supplying products to primary blue chip foodservice customers.

Applications are invited from candidates with relevant qualifications and experience for this Monday to Friday 9am-5pm salaried post - £13000 p.a.

The Role :

• Assist organise the product development programme
• Assist develop products which are seen to reflect Roberts` “continuous improvement” ethos
• Conduct full product presentation and serving suggestions
• Maintains company database of all recipes and samples
• Keeping up to date with the Food Service Industry developments – and more

The Person :

• You will posses excellent communication skills with a good degree of numaracy , literacy and PC skills
• You will be trained to a minimum of Basic Food Hygiene Level
• You will be qualified to a minimum NVQ level 2/3 Food Preparation and Cooking
• You will be confident, energetic and well organized – driven by challenge
• You will be a team player

Responsible to the Company Buyer, you will assist plan, organize, undertake, control and evaluate the company’s food and non-food purchasing activities. Ensuring suppliers adherence to product and service specification at all times.

40 hour week, Monday to Friday.
